The House being informed, "That Sir Basill Firebrace, now in the Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, was seen abroad, walking and conversing with several Persons:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, do take special Care that the said Sir Basil Firebrace be kept close Prisoner; and that he be not suffered to speak with any Person whatsoever, but in the Presence of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod or his Deputy, unless by Order of the Committee of both Houses.
